Connecting Google to your dashboard
Connect your Google Search Console and Analytics to see your search results in your SearchriseSEO dashboard. Our access is read-only, and you can disconnect at any time.
How to connect
- Sign in to your dashboardUse the sign-in link we email you, then go to Settings and choose Google connection.
- Click Connect GoogleWe send you to Google's own sign-in page. We never see your Google password.
- Choose your Google accountPick the account that manages your website in Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Check what you are allowingGoogle lists the two read-only permissions we ask for. Tick both, then click Continue.
- Pick your website and Analytics propertyBack in your dashboard, choose which website and which Analytics property to show, then click Save.
You can tick just one of the two permissions if you prefer. We will then only show the figures you allowed.
What we read
Only your search and visitor figures, so we can show them in your dashboard and use them to plan and measure the SEO work you have asked us to do.
From Google Search Console
- The websites you manage in Search Console, so you can pick yours
- Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position
- Your top search terms and top pages
From Google Analytics
- The Google Analytics 4 properties you can see, so you can pick yours
- Visitors and sessions
- Where your visitors come from, your top landing pages and your conversions
We do not read your email, files, contacts or anything else in your Google account.
Read-only access
- We cannot change your website, your settings or your Google accounts, and we cannot add or remove users.
- We read your figures from Google when you open a report. We don't save them. We only hold them for up to 10 minutes after you open a report.
- The only thing we keep is the access key Google gives us, stored encrypted.
- You, and the members of our team who work on your account, can see your figures. We never sell them or use them for advertising.
How to disconnect
You can stop our access at any time, in either of these ways:
- In your dashboard: go to Settings, then Google connection, and click Disconnect Google. We tell Google to remove our access and delete the access key straight away.
- In your Google account: go to myaccount.google.com/connections and remove SearchriseSEO.
If you remove us in your Google account, your dashboard will show "Reconnect Google" until you connect again.
